Separating research history from delivery format
This format brings an older peptide research history into a separate premixed-product record. The history is useful context, while the finished bottle’s identity and measurements must be verified independently.

What the name’s history can and cannot tell you
The original 1977 PNAS work described isolation and synthetic comparison of a nine-residue peptide using a rabbit EEG model. A later 1992 small double-blind study reported weak and uncertain effects.
Those are separate experimental records with different models and limitations. The descriptive name is not a substitute for reading them, and neither study verifies the present finished spray.

Distinguish sequence from delivery format
A nine-residue sequence identifies a reference chain. It does not specify a solvent, bottle concentration, storage protocol or delivered pump volume. Those are formulation and handling details that require their own sources.
When reading a paper, preserve its preparation and experimental model. A different presentation should not be called equivalent just because the reference chain has the same name.

Keep the bottle quantities separate
Record total listed amount, liquid volume and concentration where documented. A total amount in the container is not the amount in one actuation. A per-actuation calculation needs established output for the actual component.
Use the spray lot’s own report for measured identity and content. The related vial has a separate record and should remain a separate line in a laboratory inventory.

No. The finished liquid has its own formulation, quantities and lot documentation.
