Calculator FAQs
Understanding the calculation
How do I work out a peptide's cost per mg?
- Add the price and any shipping, then divide by the total mg: vials × mg per vial.
- Example: 3 vials of 10 mg for $120 with $9 shipping is $129 ÷ 30 mg, or $4.30 per mg.
Why compare cost per mg instead of price per vial?
- Vial sizes differ, so a cheaper vial can cost more per mg. A $60 vial of 10 mg is $6 per mg, and a $100 vial of 20 mg is $5 per mg.
- Pack discounts and shipping change the answer too, so count the whole order.
What is cost per measured mg?
- A label states what a vial should hold. A lab report's content result states what was measured for that lot.
- Enter the measured mg to see the cost on that amount. Use a report that matches your lot, because a report only covers the lot it tested.
- When only one offer has a measured figure, the comparison stays on labeled mg so both sides match.
Does the cheapest cost per mg mean the best offer?
- No. This only does the math. It says nothing about identity, purity or how a product was handled, so check the lab report for the lot as well.
