A study centered on cellular transport

A Gastroenterology paper published online in 2007 and in the 2008 journal volume investigated a Lys–Pro–Val tripeptide and the PepT1 transport system. The work included cell models and animal experiments.

Transport is a specific research question

A transport experiment asks whether and how material moves through a biological system under defined conditions. Its model, comparison group and analytical method are essential to the finding.
